SOFTWARE ENGINEER C/C++ (HARDWARE-RELATED) (M/F/D)

Your role / tasks / responsibilities

As a Software Engineer C/C++ (hardware-related), you will be responsible for the continued development and design of our own products. Prospectively, you will manage a highly motivated team and develop and document architectural proposals for new features and products. You will ensure that they are implemented on schedule and in accordance with the development specifications. The high security requirements of our product always determine your thoughts and actions. You will advise our customers on the use of our products and support them in the installation and creation of operating concepts together with your team.

In the embedded domain, you know how to use your skills efficiently.

Your profile

You have experience in modern software development. A (technical) education or degree, e.g. computer science, business informatics, mathematics, is an advantage, but is not required. In addition to several years of professional experience in modern software development, you have already gained initial management experience. In addition to knowledge in the area of PKI and encryption, you have knowledge in several of the following areas:

• Practical experience in programming with C/C++
• Experience with cryptography libraries, such as OpenSSL
• Experience in the native development of embedded systems and controller components
• Experience in board layout and defining product specifications as an interface to the hardware supplier
• Experience in the field of software architecture using UML is also welcome
• Practical experience in test automation using unit test frameworks such as cppUnit
• Experience in the area of continuous integration, especially Jenkins or Hudson, and in configuration management
• Experience in CC certification of software components and approvals of hardware components

Your approach to work is always well structured and solution-oriented. You are motivated and focussed in pursuing your objectives. Your creativity helps you to always find the right solutions in complex and technically demanding environments.

ACCOUNT MANAGER IT SECURITY (M/W/D)

Your role

As Account Manager IT Security, you will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships using solution-oriented sales strategies. The main objective of your job is to excite customers from business and public authorities with new perspectives and to introduce them to our innovative solutions – including, for example, solutions for e-mail and file security, electronic identity solutions (eID) or public key infrastructures (PKI). Other aspects of your job are

• Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers
• Solution-oriented sales by analyzing customer problems and proactively developing appropriate solutions
• Showing customers new perspectives and presenting alternative solutions
• Market analysis by researching and identifying potential customers and markets
• Structured follow-up of sales potentials

Your profile

You already have some experience in sales or in customer-oriented roles (e.g. customer service, internal sales, consulting). You also have a technical understanding – ideally even in the areas of IT security, digital identity solutions, digital signatures, secure e-mail infrastructure, public key infrastructure or electronic ID cards. In addition, some of the following points complete your profile:

• An apprenticeship or degree, e.g. in the fields of business, STEM, communications, technology, is an advantage, but is not required
• Ability to analyze customer needs and create data-driven argumentations
• A confident presence and the ability to convince even experienced customers with new ideas
• Curiosity, willingness to learn and interest in continuous learning about products, markets and customers
• Resilience to embrace setbacks and challenges as part of the growth process
• Experience in working with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
• Confident with the MS Office products Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Interest in new technologies and in innovative and digital sales approaches
• Willingness to travel (about 30 percent of the time)
