Your Mission
As a Key Account Manager for IT Security, you will sell our solutions for highly secure email and file encryption to public authorities and the enterprise market. You combine strategic thinking with a strong hands-on approach, thereby making a significant contribution to our company’s success.
Your role
As Key Account Manager IT Security, you will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships using solution-oriented sales strategies. The main objective of your job is to excite customers from business and public authorities with new perspectives and to introduce them to our innovative solutions – including, for example, solutions for e-mail and file security, electronic identity solutions (eID) or public key infrastructures (PKI). Other aspects of your job are
Customer Acquisition: Using your innovative and solution-oriented sales strategies, you will independently build long-term customer relationships and identify new business opportunities with existing customers
B2B Sales: Using your new sales strategies, you will sell customized IT security solutions to businesses and public institutions
Customer Support: You will work closely with internal teams (e.g., development, product management, marketing) to ensure optimal customer support.
End-to-End Sales Responsibility: You will close deals and manage the entire sales process—from initial contact through to successful completion.
Point of Contact: As the primary point of contact for our partners and customers, you will represent cryptovision at on-site meetings, during phone calls, and at conferences and trade shows.
Your profile
You have several years of experience in sales and can provide relevant references. A (business) training program or a college degree, for example in STEM or business, is a plus but not required. You have a technical background—ideally in the areas of IT security, digital identity solutions, digital signatures, secure email infrastructure, public key infrastructure, or electronic service IDs—or are interested in acquiring this knowledge.
In addition, some of the following points round out your profile:
- Strong communication skills & confidence in negotiations: You can confidently present complex content in German and English. You are also comfortable interacting with decision-makers and possess the necessary organizational skills and persuasiveness. Your confident demeanor and ability to convince even experienced clients with new ideas round out your negotiation skills
- Motivation & willingness to learn: You have a genuine interest in our products, markets, and clients and are highly motivated to learn and delve deeply into our subject matter
- Resilience: A passion for challenges and the determination to bounce back even after setbacks
- Software & Databases: Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and proficiency with MS Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Mobility: You are willing to travel (including internationally) to provide the best possible service to your clients (approximately 30% of the time)
