Your mission

As an embedded software engineer with a focus on test tooling, you will play a key role in the development of our proprietary products. You combine technical expertise with the highest security requirements and thus increase data security in the digital world.

 

Your role

🧑‍💻Product development: Product development is your passion. This is the focus of your daily work

🏠Product architecture: Together with your team, you develop architecture proposals for new developments, document them using suitable tools and ensure that they are implemented on time and in line with specifications

🔒Security as a guiding principle: the high security requirements for our products always determine your thoughts and actions

🔧Bugfixing: You eliminate programming errors and thus improve our hardware-related products

🧑‍🔬Testing: You further develop our test environment and test our products with the help of test automation

 

Your profile

You have professional experience in modern embedded development. A successfully completed technical degree with a specialization in information / IT security, technical, business or general computer science or comparable training is an advantage but is not required.

Ideally, in addition to knowledge of public key infrastructures (PKI) and encryption, you also have market knowledge in one or more of the following fields: IT security and digital identity solutions, digital signatures, eIDAS regulation, electronic ID cards or electronic passports according to ICAO. In addition, some of the following will round off your profile:

  • Practical programming: Basic knowledge and ideally development experience in Java
  • Testing: Test automation with JUnit or other frameworks
  • Continuous integration: Experience in the area of continuous integration, for example with Jenkins, and in configuration management
  • Tools: Experience with Git, Ant and Gradle
  • Cryptography libraries: e.g. BouncyCastle and/or OpenSSL
  • CC evaluation processes: Knowledge from the environment of Common Criteria evaluation processes
  • Smart card standards: Ideally, you will also have know-how in the area of international smart card standards (e.g. ISO 7816, TR03110, ICAO9303 or GlobalPlatform)
  • Willingness to learn & motivation: You are willing to familiarize yourself with complex systems and legacy code
