The cv act library/VHDL offers a secure and efficient integration of cryptographic methods for programmable logic (FPGA logic blocks) and application-specific integrated circuits (ASIC). The cryptographic library is optimized for different FPGA platforms. We define security as a holistic process, from the analysis of weak points to the implementation of the cryptographic solution in the form of hardware building blocks. At the same time, we pay attention to the individual customer-specific security requirements.
Customized solutions can not only necessitate specially secure and complex mathematical methods, but also efficient and proprietary algorithms. Due to our experience with evaluation, we also pay attention to possible security risks such as side channel attacks. The cv act library/VHDL can optionally use innovative ECC technology for specially fast and resource-saving security applications (savings in computer time, energy usage and hardware costs). This way the cv act library/VHDL already meets the standards of tomorrow, today.
cv cryptovision develops cryptographic concepts and solutions for the high-security sector, among others for and in cooperation with the BSI (German Federal Office for Information Security). Through our cooperation on major national projects, cryptovision belongs to the circle of companies afforded critical infrastructure protection.
