There are contacts with several work groups of the TU (Polytechnic) Darmstadt. Prof. Buchmann's work group of the faculty computer science is focussed on research of suitable Public Key Cryptosystems, especially ECC. Moreover, there are projects in cooperation with Prof. Huss's work group: e.g. property of devices for the purpose of hardware acceleration of ECC algorithms.
A student of the TU (Polytechnic) Eindhoven realized her diploma thesis: Differential Power Attacks at cryptovision. This is due to a "triangle contact" between Prof. Schoenmakers work group of TU Eindhoven, Prof. Vinck of the IEM Essen and cryptovision.

For several years, there is strong contact to Prof. Paar and Prof. Dobbertin of "Institut zur Informationssicherheit" (Institute of Computer Science Security) at Bochum University. Both contacts date back to the formation phase: Prof. Paar was associate professor of the IEM and continued his cooperation even during his professorship at Worcester Institute of Technology (USA).
The IEM (Institute of experimental mathematics) of Essen University is cryptovision's most important scientific partner. There is a tight cooperation with Prof. Frey's work group. In the formation phase, cryptovision realized with IEM the project "curve factory". The work group is active member of the ECC-brainpool. Moreover, Prof. Frey is cv cryptovision’s research consultant. There are contacts with the other work groups of the institute: The security of smart cards against DPA attacks was investigated with Prof. Vinck's group and in cooperation with Prof. Rathgeb's group subjects for diplomas in the field of network security were supervised.

There are contacts with Prof. Ruland's work group of Siegen University in the scope of ECC brainpool as well as cooperations in other funded projects like e.g. in the EU-funded research project USB-Crypt or the nationally funded project SELMA.
There are close contacts to Prof. Rück's work group of Kassel University. His workgroup was decisively involved in the project "curve factory".

Until September 2001, the cooperation partner at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the USA was Prof. Paar, who holds now a professorship at Bochum University. In the scope of the cooperation American students realized their integrated semester in industry at cryptovision.
With cv act PKIntegrated cryptovision integrated the Z1 Secure Mail Gateway completeley in Novell environment.
